  • Cheer Up

It is very easy to be pessimistic about life, about anything and everything under the sun. There is every reason to be down because of what we are, and because of what is happening in the world around us. Some of us may be  struggling in our own little corner at work, with our unfriendly colleagues in the office, in church with difficult brethren, or even at home with our unliving famly members.

Very often we might eveluate how our situation has gone from bad to worse. That is the kind of situation Jesus was reffering to when He ws speaking to His disciples. The times are not getting better. They had been following Jesus all this while. Never before did anyone dare to talkk back about Pharisee or a religous leader, only Jesus. Not just once, but many, many times. Yet itis amazind that they continue to follow Jesus.  Truly they had found hope and safety in him whom they believed is the eternal Son of God

We often afraid when we face trials and tribulations. Sometimes, we are so miserable and didn't have the courage to overcome them. This is every reason to be down of what we are and because of what we are and because of what is happening in the world around us.

Jesus could have continued to stay with them forever. No matter how bad the situation tha=ey may be in it will never be so bad because Jesus is physically with thm. So long as Jesus is with them, they have nothing to worry about because Jesus took care f all their problems. They canbe cheerful the whole day long. But that is not what Jesus wants the disciples to learn. Therefore Jesus gave them John 16:33 "These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. They have to learn to cope without His physical presence. Only then will their faith grow and god's great ministry be done through them.

  • This is one of the best prayers I think I have ever read.

PRAY THIS EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!! IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MINUTE.

I started not to do this, but as I read it.... I understood God to say, 'You need a miracle tomorrow.... so here goes... Prov. 29:25...

You never know when God is going to bless you. Good things happen when you least expect them to. Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your Favour, Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from you. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.  Let me not to whine and whimper over things I ha ve no control over. And give the best ressponse when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, you listen to my heart.  Continue to use me to do your will.  Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others.  Keep me strong that I may help the weak.  Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way.  I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.  I pray for those who don't know you intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others I pray for those that don't believe.

But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things.  I pray for all my sisters and brothers.  For each and every family member in their households.  I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.  I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.  Every battle is in your hands for you to fight.  I pray these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

Now, I realised is not that easy in preparing for quiz.I participated in the quiz or games most of the times, but seldom really prepare like time. This tells me that I need to read more Bible as I quite lazy to read Bible, after this I really need to change my this bad attitude.

  • God's 26 Guards

Here's a message that will bring you chills.
Have you ever felt the urge to pray for someone and
then just put it on a list and said,
    "I'll pray for them later?"
Or has anyone ever called you and said,
"I need you to pray for me, I have this need?"
Read the following story that was sent to me and
may it change the way that you may think about prayer and also the way you pray.
You will be blessed by this....

A missionary on furlough told this true story while
visiting his home church in Michigan

"While serving at a small field hospital in Africa,
every two weeks I traveled by bicycle
through the jungle to a nearby city for supplies.
This was a journey of two days and
required camping overnight at the halfway point.

On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city
where I planned to collect money from a bank,
purchase medicine, and supplies, and then begin
my two-day journey back to the field hospital.

Upon arrival in the city, I observed two men fighting,
one of whom had been seriously injured.
I treated him for his injuries and at the same time
talked to him about the Lord.

I then traveled two days, camping overnight, and
    arrived home without incident....

Two weeks later I repeated my journey.
    Upon arriving in the city,
I was approached by the young man I had treated.
He told me that he had known I carried
    money and medicines.
He said, 'Some friends and I followed you into the jungle,
    knowing you would camp overnight.
We planned to kill you and take your money and drugs.

But just as we were about to move into your camp,
we saw that you were surrounded by 26 armed guards.

At this, I laughed and said that I was
certainly all alone in that jungle campsite.
The young man pressed the point, however, and said,
'No, sir, I was not the only person to see the guards,
my friends also saw them, and we all counted them.
It was because of those guards that
we were afraid and left you alone.'
At this point in the sermon,
one of the men in the congregation jumped to his feet and
interrupted the missionary and asked if he could tell him the exact day this happened.

The missionary told the congregation the date, and
the man who interrupted told him this story:
"On the night of your incident in Africa,
it was morning here and I was preparing to go play golf.
I was about to putt when I felt the urge to pray for you.
In fact, the urging of the Lord was so strong,
I called men in this church to meet with me here
in the sanctuary to pray for you.
Would all of those men who met with me on that day stand up?"
The men who had met together to pray that day stood up.
The missionary wasn't concerned with who they were,
he was too busy counting how many men he saw.
    There were 26!

This story is an incredible example of how
the Spirit of the Lord moves in mysterious ways.
If you ever hear such prodding, go along with it.

Nothing is ever hurt by prayer except the gates of hell.

If we all take it to heart,
we can turn this world toward God once again.
As the above true story clearly illustrates,
"With God all things are possible".

More importantly, how God hears and
answers the prayers of the faithful.

Give God thanks for the beautiful gift of your faith,
for the powerful gift of prayer, and for the many miracles
He works in your own daily life... and then pass it on.
Who says God does not work in mysterious ways
I asked the Lord to bless you as I prayed for you today.
To guide you and protect you as you go along your way.
His love is always with you, His promises are true, and
when we give Him our cares you know
    He will see us through.
So when the road you're traveling on seems
    difficult at best,
    Just remember I'm here praying,
and God will do the rest.
